Drafts
Draft Outline for Leadership Development Summary Report (use the TIGER Summary Report above as style guide template):
- Explain the scope of the issue and the reason for its urgency
- Provide background on the topic—utilize the literature review (WG#1) and perhaps provide context around the programs studied
- Key leadership development needs – perhaps use the work of WG#4 completing the assessment and WG#2 (critical competencies for leaders)
- Review the different types of leadership development programs/options – include case studies or examples of each to help illustrate – include references or links to these programs – these might be further subdivided between education and practice leaders
- Discuss any gaps in current leadership development programs and any recommendations for filling the gaps identified
- Describe any recommendations and/or next steps for the industry (may subdivide by stakeholders or environment—e.g., education vs. practice)
