Drafts

Draft Outline for Leadership Development Summary Report (use the TIGER Summary Report above as style guide template):

  1. Explain the scope of the issue and the reason for its urgency
  2. Provide background on the topic—utilize the literature review (WG#1) and perhaps provide context around the programs studied
  3. Key leadership development needs – perhaps use the work of WG#4 completing the assessment and WG#2 (critical competencies for leaders)
  4. Review the different types of leadership development programs/options – include case studies or examples of each to help illustrate – include references or links to these programs – these might be further subdivided between education and practice leaders
  5. Discuss any gaps in current leadership development programs and any recommendations for filling the gaps identified
  6. Describe any recommendations and/or next steps for the industry (may subdivide by stakeholders or environment—e.g., education vs. practice)
