WG#1 Action Plan
1. Identify questions to direct to AONE members on training nurse leaders for yourself and managers. - Sally F to work with Donna to create survey questions to add to WG#4 survey - update complete 4/9/08 and survey posted on wiki under WG#4
2. Evaluate the programs for the top 3-5 Academic Nursing Administrative Programs - US News Report - Jane B completed - posted results on all eight US accademic programs: Nursing_Administration_Academic_Programs.doc; NIWG programs: AMIA Education Nursing WG Programs.doc
3. Complete a study of AONE's last 10 years of conference to determine the level of informatics & technology content. - Jane B contacted AONE's president Carol Watson & Pam Thompson, CEO for AONE /research student.
4. Contact AONE past workgroup members that led in defining the role of the NE in technology acquisition & implementation. - Donna to contact Ida A to see how we should relate our findings back to the AONE survey/update the document
5. Describe each of the categories of leadership development programs, supply examples of programs within each, and document any recommendations to the industry
